American mobile carrier ATT signed an exclusive ringtones agreement with Universal Music to include more songs in its catalog of music for mobile phones. At&t subscribers can download 60 songs by unique guitarists and bands in the form of ringtones, ringbacks (melodies playable instead of long beeps during calls) or the original tracks. 

AT&T pointed out that they were going to recharge your cell phone directory not only with popular music of recent trends, and thus expand the boundaries of its audience. Moving ringtone-based products of such rock groups as the Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Radiohead, Van Halen and Black Sabbath begins next month and a record label Rhino. 

Sound recording and wireless operators are now going to actively expand the market for ringtones, polyphonic ringing tones which give way to the format of MP3. At the same time, industry representatives argue that the business of ringtones will grow not due to recent trends, but by creating an extensive catalog, a significant portion of which is classic rock and pop music.

Verizon Wireless, announced a new agreement that will allow subscribers to receive ringtones to any mobile phone device that supports the software platform BREW, distributed by this company, which is the largest U.S. cellular operator.

Moviso LLC, a company owned by Vivendi Universal Net USA and Verizon Wireless, owns the world's largest legal collection of ringtones for calls, which was organized through partnerships with major record studios such as Universal Music, Sony Music Entertainment and BMG. 

Focusing its strategy moving into the market of mobile services, Moviso changed its name to Premium Wireless Services. 

Appendix entitled Ringster, distributed Movisio, allows subscribers to listen and purchase. Payment is simple, thanks to close integration with the billing system of Ringster mobile operator.
